Streamlining Bid Preparation with Templates

Templates in TenderB allow you to save and reuse common bid structures, prompts, and content, significantly speeding up your tender response process.

Types of Templates

Creating a Template

From Existing Content

Save successful bid content as a template:

  1. Navigate to the content you want to save

  2. Click the "Save as Template" button

  3. Give the template a descriptive name

  4. Add tags for easy searching

  5. Choose template visibility (personal or team-wide)

From Scratch

Create a new template:

  1. Go to Settings → Templates

  2. Click "Create New Template"

  3. Choose template type

  4. Define the structure and content

  5. Add placeholders for variable content

  6. Save and name the template

Using Templates

Applying a Document Template

When starting a new document:

  1. Click "New Document"

  2. Select "From Template"

  3. Choose the appropriate template

  4. Fill in the placeholders

Using Prompt Templates

In the chat interface:

  1. Click the template icon

  3. Select the template

  4. The prompt will populate in the input box

  5. Modify if needed and send
