Password Reset Process

TenderB uses a team-based password reset system for enhanced security. Individual users cannot reset their own passwords directly.

Why This Approach?

This system ensures that:

  • Only authorized team administrators can reset passwords

  • Account security is maintained through proper verification

  • Password resets are logged for audit purposes

Steps to Reset Your Password

Step 1: Contact Your Team Administrator
Reach out to your team administrator via email, phone, or internal communication channels. Inform them that you need a password reset.

Step 2: Administrator Verification
Your administrator will verify your identity through established organizational procedures before proceeding with the reset.

Step 3: Administrator Initiates Reset
The administrator logs into TenderB, navigates to Settings → Team Management, finds your user account, and clicks the "Reset Password" button next to your name.

Step 4: Receive Reset Email
You will receive an email with the subject line "Reset Your TenderB Password" containing a secure reset link. This link is valid for 24 hours.

Step 5: Click the Reset Link
Click the "Reset Password" button in the email. This opens a new browser window or tab with the password reset form.

Step 6: Create New Password
Enter your new password twice in the provided fields. Your password must meet these requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters

  • At least one uppercase letter

  • At least one lowercase letter

  • At least one number

  • At least one special character (@, #, $, %, etc.)

Step 7: Confirm and Save
Click the "Save New Password" button. You'll see a confirmation message: "Your password has been successfully updated."

Step 8: Log In
Return to the TenderB login page and sign in with your email address and new password.

Troubleshooting

Reset link expired: Contact your administrator to request a new reset link.

Email not received: Check your spam folder. If still not found, contact your administrator to verify the correct email address is on file.

Password doesn't meet requirements: Ensure your password includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters.
