Creating a New Project

Creating a well-configured project is the foundation for successful tender preparation in TenderB.

Starting the Process

From the Projects Dashboard, click the blue "Create Project" button in the top-right corner.

The project creation form appears.

Project Configuration Fields

Project Name (Required)
Enter a clear, descriptive name for your tender project.

  • Best Practice: Include the client name and project type (e.g., "Municipality Amsterdam - IT Services Tender")

  • Character Limit: 100 characters maximum

  • Tip: Use consistent naming conventions across all projects for easy searching

Language (Required)

Set a language for the project

Deadline (Required)
Set the tender submission deadline.

  • Date Picker: Click the calendar icon to select the date

  • Time: Include the specific time if known (defaults to 23:59 if not specified)

  • Timezone: Automatically uses your account timezone setting

  • Reminders: TenderB automatically creates reminder notifications at 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before the deadline

Client Name (Required)
Specify the contracting authority or client organization.

  • Autocomplete: As you type, TenderB suggests existing clients from your database

  • New Client: If the client doesn't exist, simply type the full name and TenderB creates a new client record

  • Client Management: Client information can be edited later in Settings → Clients

Team Members
Select leaders (required) and team members (optional) for the project.

  • Multi-Select: Click to add multiple team members

  • Roles: Assign roles (Owner, Editor, Viewer) to control permissions

  • Notifications: Assigned members receive a notification about the new project

  • Add Later: Team members can be added or changed at any time

Update files (Optional)

Add project information for optimal results

Tags (Optional)
Add tags for organization and filtering.

  • Examples: "High Priority", "Government", "Recurring Client", "Complex"

  • Create New: Type a new tag name and press Enter to create it

  • Existing Tags: Select from previously created tags

Finalizing the Project

Save as Draft: Click this button to save the project without activating it. Useful if you need to gather more information before starting work.

Create Project: Click this blue button to create and activate the project immediately. The interface navigates you to the new project workspace.

After Creation

Once created, you can:

  • Upload tender documents in the Files section

  • Start conversations with AI agents in the Chat section

  • Create document sections in the Write panel

  • Invite additional team members

  • Set up project-specific templates and workflows
