Creating Projects from Opportunities

From Opportunity to Project

Step 1: Review the Opportunity

In the "Pending" tab, click on an opportunity card to expand it and view detailed information:

  • Opportunity title

  • Contracting authority

  • Publication date

  • Deadline

  • Description

  • Analysis status

  • Attached files

Step 2: Analyze Attached Files

Review the attached documents:

  • Project Master Document: Main tender document with requirements and terms

  • Additional Files: Technical specifications, pricing templates, reference materials

Click on file names to view or download them.

Step 3: Decide to Pursue

If the opportunity is worth pursuing, you can create a TenderB project directly from it.

Step 4: Create Project

Click the blue "Create Project" button within the expanded opportunity card.

Step 5: Enter Client Name

A dialog appears with pre-filled information from the opportunity. Review and confirm the client name, or edit if necessary.

Step 6: Confirm Creation

Click "Create Project" in the dialog.

What Happens Next

  1. Project Created: A new project is created with the opportunity's title, deadline, and client information

  2. Files Imported: All attached files are automatically uploaded to the project's Files section

  3. Navigation: You're automatically taken to the new project workspace

  4. Ready to Work: You can immediately begin working on the tender with all documents in place

Alternative: Mark as Interested

If you're not ready to create a project yet but want to track the opportunity:

  1. Click "Mark as Interested"

  2. The opportunity moves to the "Interested" tab

  3. You can create a project from it later

Archive Unwanted Opportunities

For opportunities you decide not to pursue:

  1. Click "Archive"

  2. The opportunity moves to the "Archive" tab

  3. Keeps your Pending tab clean and focused
